Did You Spend Money On A Bad Product?

You've been watching those infomercials, reading magazine ads or even found them in a search engine on the Internet; a product that supposed to do something fantastic, or make your life easier.  So, you decided to give it a try only to find that the product you bought doesn't work the way it was promoted to, or was of poor quality and falls miserably short of your expectations!  What do you do after buying a product that doesn't work?
How many of you remember the kid's game "Engine, Engine #9?" "....if the train should jump the tracks, do you want your money back'?  I do! Let's hear your story!

Your Blessing Can Reap Great Returns!

All About Chicago and Aldi is supporting a local high school student's opportunity to go to Australia as part of the Illinois Track and Field competition! Aldi is a long-time supporter of All About Chicago and has been instrumental in helping our youth staff to produce shows for the past six seasons.  One of our associate producers has been invited to compete in the Down Under Games in Australia this June, but he needs our support to make it happen! Aldi has donated a number of food certificates in support of this effort and All About Chicago will be raffling them away! To qualify for the raffle, all you need to do is be a blessing and help send this athlete to compete this June! For more information, send us an email to info@allaboutchicago.net. The raffle is open to individuals only, but businesses who elect to help out will receive a link on our blogsite for three months from the date of donation. The deadline for donations/sponsorship is May 20, 2011!

Remember, givers gain! So be a blessing and watch the blessing boomerang back to you! Don't forget to logon to our website to keep current on what's happening in and around Chicagoland: http://allaboutchicago.net.

Cooking up Something Good!

We just returned from the 2011 International Home and Housewares Show at McCormick Place in Chicago. There were exhibits everywhere and plenty of new and exciting products for the consumer. One of of many stops included interviewing Iron Chef Cat Cora. She has a new cookbook out entitled Classics With a Twist. She also has a new line of cookware available for the professional "home cook" as well. To get a sneak preview of our interview of Cat, go to our website http://allaboutchicago.net. The entire interview will be aired on our cable television show this spring, along with the reviews of several other products from the IHS.  Let us know if about products you would like us to review, or if you have one to share with us, post it here. Our featured line of product recommendations, and ones to stay away from, will be featured on our website in April. You may also check the site for the dates and times for All About Chicago's cable show.
